Susannamma Kunjumol Thomas

September 16, 1958  July 16, 2011

Kunjumol, beloved wife of Thomas John (Thankachen) and mother of Tinto and Tenny Thomas, was born on September 16, 1958. Kunjumol was the adored, much awaited second daughter of her parents, late Varghese GeeVarghese and Mariamma Varghese of Poyyalimalil Mini Bhavan family from Paippad, Changanacherry, Kottayam District, Kerala. She attended St. Thomas High School and received her BA from NSS College in Changanacherry, Kottayam, Kerala. She was married on July 17, 1987 to Thomas John (Thankachan) of the Pulinchimoottill family from Mallappally.


Kunjumol will be remembered for her great kindness and generosity by all who knew her. Her hospitality and kindness was apparent always. She is also known for her optimism and great faith in the Lord. Kunjumol was very active in the church choir and prayer groups. She will be remembered for her innocence, her kind-heart and contagious laugh by her family and loved ones.

Her brothers treated her as their little princess. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void but her vibrant personality and optimism will remain eternally.

Kunjumol is survived by her husband (Thankachen), two sons Tinto and Tenny, her mother, Mariamma (Ammachi) , her oldest sister, Kunjujammama, her older brothers: Varghese (Baby), George (Pappachen), Mathewkutty P.V., John George (Kunjumon), Cherian (Sonachen), younger brother, Abraham (Babu), extended family of brother/sisters-in-laws and 14 loving nieces/nephews.
