Rajiv Samuel Johnson, MD, was born on April 20, 1988, in Fontana, California, to late Joseph Johnson and Lalitha.

He graduated from Loma Linda Adventist Academy in June, 2007. He went on to La Sierra University and graduated with a BS degree in June 2011. To further his career, he attended the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and graduated in May, 2015. His wedding to Christine Elizabeth De Mel took place on October 16, 2016. He was doing his third year residency program at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine when his life was suddenly cut short early morning on Monday, November 6, 2017. He was kind and understanding to his patients and was loved by his family, friends and colleagues.

He will always be remembered for his soft nature.

He leaves behind his wife Christine, mother, Lalitha, sister Priya, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Loma Linda University Church on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 10 a.m.

Graveside service at the Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary at 12 p.m.,

Repast at the Delhi Palace India Cuisine at 1:30 p.m.
