ഡാലസ്: കുടിയേറ്റ വിഷയത്തില്‍ ഇന്ന് രാജ്യം അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധിക്ക് പ്രധാന കാരണം രാജ്യത്തെ സ്‌നേഹിക്കുവാന്‍ കഴിയാത്തവര്‍ ഇമ്മിഗ്രേഷന്‍ നിയമങ്ങള്‍ എഴുതി തയാറാക്കിയതാണെന്ന് അമേരിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ട്രംപ് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.
മേയ് 4 ന് ഡാലസില്‍ നാഷണല്‍ റൈഫിള്‍ അസോസിയേഷന്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച വാര്‍ഷിക സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ പ്രസംഗിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു ട്രംപ്. അനധികൃത കുടിയേറ്റം തടയുന്നതിന് സുശക്തമായ നിയമങ്ങള്‍ നിലവിലില്ലെന്നും പ്രസിഡന്റ് കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.
ദിനംതോറും ടെലിവിഷനിലൂടേയും പത്രങ്ങളിലൂടേയും കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ അതിര്‍ത്തികളായ മെക്‌സിക്കോയില്‍ നിന്നും സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ നിന്നും അനധികൃതമായി നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തിലേക്ക് ഒഴുകിയെത്തുന്നവരുടെ സംഖ്യ വര്‍ധിച്ചു വരുന്നതാണ്. ഇന്ന് ഇവരെ ഒരു പരിധിവരെ അതിര്‍ത്തി കടക്കാന്‍ അനുവദിക്കാതെ തടഞ്ഞു നിര്‍ത്തിയിരിക്കുകയാണെന്നും ട്രംപ് പറഞ്ഞു.
അമേരിക്കയെ സ്‌നേഹിക്കാത്തവരാണ് ഡമോക്രാറ്റുകള്‍ എന്നു പരസ്യമായി പറയാതെ, ഇമ്മിഗ്രേഷന്‍ നിയമങ്ങള്‍ കര്‍ശനമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നതിനും, ലക്ഷ്യം നിറവേറ്റുന്നതിലും ഡമോക്രാറ്റുകള്‍ പരാജയപ്പെട്ടതായി ട്രംപ് പരോക്ഷമായി സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു.
