Police have charged a white man with a hate crime for allegedly burning down three black churches in Louisiana. Trump has said nothing. Rump & pence was silent on the intentional burning of three black churches in Louisiana that was deemed a hate crime by local law enforcement the same day. Ommen, where were you? you and your fake Christian beliefs?
Trump ignores the victims of tragic acts that don't benefit Trump's political orthodoxy. Did you notice that omen?
In this case, he's silent on the fact that racism still runs rampant in the Deep South, where Trump remains a popular figure. Rump is the father of white racists. He's also been silent when white supremacists wage or plot violent hate crimes.

When a white supremacist killed 49 Muslims praying at a mosque in New Zealand, Trump instead chose to sow religious division and fan the flames of Islamophobia by praising the anti-Muslim bigots who appear on Fox News.
Trump was also silent on Republican-perpetrated election fraud in North Carolina that didn't fit into his false and racist theory that he only lost the popular vote because minority voters and immigrants voted illegally.
Trump isn't the only one in the White House who was criticized for not speaking out about the arson at the black churches in Louisiana.
Vice President Mike Pence also received criticism on Monday, after he issued a statement on the Notre Dame Cathedral fire but hadn't issued a peep on the churches in Louisiana. According to the New York Times, the Louisiana fires occurred on March 26, April 2 and April 4.
After Pence was called out, his spokesperson issued a statement on the arson at the black churches but did not attribute it to Pence himself.
Apparently to the Trump administration, which claims to support religious freedom, that freedom only applies to white Christians.

twenty or thirty years ago, Christianity in America was goin’ strong. But over the past couple of decades, folks have fled their local churches in record numbers. Why?
It seems that the Evangelical movement has burrowed into the hide of Christianity like a tick and released its poison of xenophobia and homophobia. The doctrines of goodness, kindness and decency have been overpowered with a far-right framework of anger, intolerance and retribution. It’s as if they took everything good about Jesus and replaced it with the exact opposite.
Sad to say, our Democracy is currently sufferin’ a similar fate. Even though America’s Constitutional history is far from perfect, ever since the Foundin’ Fathers rolled out the Bill of Rights there has been an slow arch bendin’ towards justice, freedom and equality.
The Bible warned Christians that in the end times, imposters in sheep’s clothin’ would sow discord and divide the flock, and our Democracy is no different. What is a cult?
There’s a lot of textbook definitions describin’ mindless zombies follerin’ every whim of a charmin’, self-styled narcissist to a congregation of wide-eyed zealots worshippin’ their silver-tongued leader as a deity. Although there’s a kernel of truth to this modern-day psycho babble, it fails to get to the root of exactly what a cult is.
If we took any modern-day cult and sent it back in time 30,000 years, it would be indiscernible from any other “tribe.” You’d see them for exactly what they are: a group of people placin’ their hopes for the future on a charismatic leader promisin’ them deliverance from their struggles and blood vengeance on their enemies.
In these prehistoric times, there was no law other than that decreed by the tribal leader, which might vary day-to-day on his mood or the weather. There were no clear-cut boundaries of personal relationships. If the leader cast a lustful eye on your wife, you had to take one for the team. This worldview caters to the unevolved, or “tribal mind” in all of us, which explains why Trumpers go apey over a loud-mouthed windbag like Donald Trump.
Seeing MAGA as a tribe is the best way of understandin’ them. These poor folks have lived in a Democracy governed by the rule of law all their lives, and where has it got them? The average Trumper is low-income, under-educated and barely scrapin’ by. As far as they see it, Democracy ain’t done them any favors, and they are longin’ for someone, anyone, that can deliver them from their struggles.
