P.J.George Palackalody: 
 

Kilianthara: Mr.P.J.george Palackalody (72), who was the School Sports Organizer, Kerala state  has passed to his heavenly abode on 06-11-2011. The deceased, a winner of  National and State Teacher Awards, was the Physical education teacher at St.Thomas High School, Kilianthara, Kannur. 

      The body will be at Vadakkeveettil, Kallumala, Mavelikara (residence of daughter Cigi.P.george) on 8^th Tuesday from 3PM to 5PM. The burial will be at St.Mary’s Church, (Kilianthara, Kannur) on 9^th November, 2011, at 11 AM. 

      Mr.George is survived by wife, Mrs.P.V.Chinnamma (Retd. Teacher, St. Thomas H.S., Kilianthara) and children: Cigi  (bishop Moore College, Mavelikara), Sijo (Sharja), Cigil(The USA), Suja (Assumption College, Chanagassery) and Jyothis (Ireland). Children’s spouses : Dr.Sebastian (St.Thomas College, Pala), Silvi (Sharja), Sonia (The USA), Jayan (Baharain) and Dony (Ireland). 

      The Late Mr.George had served as Secretary, Games Federation of India; State Vice President, Physical Education Teacher’s Association; President, Lion’s Club, Iritty; Secretary, Dist. School Games Association, Kannur. He had also acted in several professional dramas and film. A number of national and State athletes are the students of the dear departed Mr.P.J.George Palackalody.
