In an episode of the chat show Look Who's Talking, Ranveer Singh recently shared his feelings about Anushka Sharma. The actor, who was once rumoured to be dating Sharma, said that he respected her a lot.

"I respect Anushka a lot. She is someone who held my hand and guided me through my first film. As I was new and didn't understand the nuances of film-making, Anushka was extremely patient. Anushka is misunderstood as she is not manipulative. She is from an army background - very straightforward and righteous to the core," the Ram-Leela actor said.

Ranveer and Anushka were first seen together in the film Band Baaja Baarat, and had grown pretty close back then. Rumour mills were abuzz with how the two actors were in a relationship and so on. However, Anushka and Ranveer had soon parted ways, and are in a healthy, friendly relation now.

The two were spotted together at a recent party that Zoya Akhtar had thrown to celebrate the wrap of Dil Dhadakne Do. Ranveer and Anushka will be seen together in this upcoming film.
