The poet has done a great work in translating the great work of Khalil Gibran.  One of the comments I have seen in this column, under another article is, ‘Don’t blame the innocent priests there are so many of them leading a saintly life,” pointing the fact that most of the saints are detached from the day to day life of ordinary people those who are struggling to meet both end meet.  Do we really need these saints live in monasteries and tell us how to deal with problems, resolve it and move forward?    As Khalil Gibran said, out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.  Most of the working men and women are strong all over the world and they don’t need these saints and their agents who don’t have any sears of life to tell them that the life on earth is worthless but hope for a better one in another world.  Jesus’s ministry on earth was about justice for oppressed and poor not about building multibillion dollar Christian corporations and wine and dine the lazy priests and saints.

Leave this chanting and singing and telling of beads!

Whom dost thou worship in this lonely dark corner

He is there where the tiller is tilling the hard ground

My friends don’t worry about God & Heaven because, as Tagore says, God is bound with us all forever.

A well transliterated treasure. You have been missing from the stage and lime light and so foxes and field rats took over. Thank you Mr.Puthenkurise for turning the lights again on the stage. Let your light lead the ignorant and confused to wisdom.

Any idiot or impotent can run away from the misery and responsibilities of day to day life and take refuge or shelter in a monastry and later come out as a saint. But a true saint is one who work hard and feed the family.

Impotency is not a virtue. It is a deficiency. Sex is not a sin. It is the act and intention of nature. If impotency is a virtue and sex is a sin the creator would have created all living things without sexuality.

Sex is inevitable and essential like food, water and air. It is a natural craving and is divine. In fact it is divinity in action.

Those who work hard to earn their daily bread are divine and saints.

Holly Land what a stupid fallacy?-

Every land you stand, every land you tread must be holly . If you think some other land is holy other than the land you stand or live; you have a major psychological problem.

If You don't respect and protect this earth as your Mother you should not be in this earth for any reason.

Respect the land you live and treat it holy. It is the beginning of solutions to the many a problems facing the human race.

Peace must come from every human’s thought and deeds; from with in you.

Make yourself a holy land and let others visit you- the holiness in you.

You are that holy land.

'' the money you spend to tour a fantasy ''holy land''- use it to feed the poor; build homes for the homeless, treat the sick.

Let us all together make a heaven in this small earth.
