Most people don't dare to respond and forget about protesting. Appreciate some showed the courage to protesting It may be not to offend anybody in this changed times of political correctness, 'mathaninda' and 'vikaara vranam'. Other issues to add to the protest: When Americans ask us about cow urine as medicine, we are at a loss. They have analyzed everything in it, and found only excretions from cow not useful to it. When we hold such faiths, and afraid to question it as it might offend some, how can we move forward in this 21st century? About religious freedom in India: Religion is part of life and religion will be here as long as people here. It is not practical to legislate against it as it is part of life of most Indians. If we try to curtail religious freedom, it might even break the country apart. Better not to experiment with it. Parents have a responsibility to bring the child up as they like. State can't control it, and will be a failure like Socialism or Communism. When the children become adults, let them choose what they want. We bring them up as free thinkers capable of thinking critically and independently. If not we won't survive in this 21st century. About freedom of speech in India: Freedom of speech is a must. Religion and state must be separate in India. Western nations found this through experience. Nations where religion and state work together there is no scientific development especially in Islamic countries. Children are not trained to think independently. India used to be secular. Now I see it changing. Political parties using religion to come to power. Heard that recently prime-minister Modi said in a speech that he is a Hindu Nationalist. They use religion to divide people and come to power. A Yogi is the chief minister of a state. Ruling party using government machinery to promote one religion. Children are loosing the ability to think independently. One reason we couldn't develop anything useful that the western world uses here is because of this. We just copy what they develop or invent. Or, we beg them for Technology. So I believe freedom of speech, separation of church and state and able to think critically if our country has to develop. China is far ahead of us. About division based on religion and race: If we don't stand united and move forward another foreign invasion and suffering is waiting for us. About religious freedom: 'Matham' literally means an opinion. Nobody proved anything. Let it stay so with freedom to choose the one you want. One might think his or her religion superior. What can we do about it? Can we legislate against it It is part of freedom of speech. Some of us think our look or personality or traditions better than another. Let them think and stay as fools. We can at least decide not to elect such people as leaders. We need leaders who can see all Indians as brothers and sisters. Otherwise India will break apart. Let us stand united and move forward as we did in the past. All the developments in India is because we stood together and worked together. If we don't stand united divided we will fall.
