ഫ്‌ളോറിഡ: റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കന്‍ സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥിയെ നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നതില്‍ സുപ്രധാന പങ്കു വഹിക്കുന്ന ഫ്‌ളോറിഡാ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഡൊണാള്‍ഡ് ട്രംബിന്റെ തകര്‍പ്പന്‍ വിജയം സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്നുള്ള പ്രതിനിധി മാര്‍ക്കൊ റൂബിയാക്ക് മത്സരരംഗത്തു നിന്നും പിന്മാറുന്നതിന് പ്രേരകമായി. ഇന്ന് നടന്ന അഞ്ചു സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില്‍ ഒഹായോവിലൊഴികെ നാലു സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും ട്രംബ് വന്‍ മുന്നേറ്റമാണ് നടത്തിയത്.

ഫ്‌ളോറിഡായില്‍ നിന്നും 99 പ്രതിനിധകളേയും, ഇല്ലിനോയ്‌സിലെ 24 ഉം, ഉറപ്പാക്കിയ ട്രംബ് മിസ്സോറിയിലും, വയോമിങ്ങിലും വൈകികിട്ടിയ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടനുസരിച്ച് വിജയിക്കുമെന്നുറപ്പായി.

ഒഹായോ സംസ്ഥാന ഗവര്‍ണ്ണറായ ജോണിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ ട്രംമ്പിന് പരാജയം ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങേണ്ടിവന്നു.

ഇതേസമയം ഡമോക്രാറ്റിക്ക് പാര്‍ട്ടി സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥിത്വം ഹില്ലരി ഫ്‌ളോറിഡാ, ഒഹായോ, ഇല്ലിനോയ്‌സ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില്‍ വിജയിച്ചതോടെ ഉറപ്പാക്കി.

അത്ഭുതങ്ങള്‍ സംഭവിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ നവംബറില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന പ്രസിഡന്റ് പൊതുതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ ഹില്ലരിയും, ട്രംമ്പും ഏറ്റുമുട്ടാനാണ് സാധ്യത. രണ്ടുതവണ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി ഭരിച്ച ഡമോക്രാറ്റിക്ക് പാര്‍ട്ടി മൂന്നാമതും ജയിച്ചു. ചരിത്രം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുമോ, അതോ ട്രംമ്പ് വിജയിച്ചു. നിലവിലുള്ള കീഴ് വഴക്കം തുടരുമോ എന്ന് കാത്തിരുന്നു കാണേണ്ടിവരും.
