വാഷിങ്ടന്‍ ഡിസി : തകര്‍ന്ന കിടന്ന യെരുശലേം മതില്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്നതിനും രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ പുനര്‍നിര്‍മ്മാണത്തിനു നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കിയ വിശുദ്ധ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിലെ നെഹമ്യ പ്രവാചകനോട് ട്രംപിനെ താരതമ്യപ്പെടുത്തി സതേണ്‍ ബാപ്റ്റിസ്റ്റ് ചര്‍ച്ച് പാസ്റ്റര്‍ റോബര്‍ട്ട് ജെഫറസ് ഡാലസ് നടത്തിയ പ്രസംഗം ജനശ്രദ്ധ ആകര്‍ഷിച്ചു.
പ്രസിഡന്റായി ചുമതലയേല്‍ക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പുബാപ്റ്റിസ്റ്റ് ചര്‍ച്ചിലെ ആരാധനയ്‌ക്കെത്തിയ ഡോണള്‍ഡ് ട്രംപിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിലായിരുന്നു പാസ്റ്ററന്മാരുടെ കുറിക്കു കൊള്ളുന്ന പ്രസംഗം.വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി അടിമത്വത്തില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന ഇസ്രയേല്‍ ജനതയെ ശത്രുക്കളില്‍ നിന്നും സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനും യെരുശലേമിനു ചുറ്റും മതില്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്നതിനും ദൈവം ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരനേയോ പുരോഹിതനേയോ അല്ല തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത് നെഹമ്യാവിനെയായിരുന്നു.
മതില്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്നതിനു പുറപ്പെട്ട നെഹമ്യാവിനെതിരെ കള്ള പ്രചരണം നടത്തുന്നതിനും പണി തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും സന്‍ബല്ലത്തും, തോബിയായും പരമാവധി ശ്രമിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും അതിനെയെല്ലാം അതിജീവിച്ചു 52 ദിവസം കൊണ്ടു നിര്‍മ്മാണം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയതായി ചരിത്രം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഞാന്‍ ഒരു നല്ല പ്രവര്‍ത്തിയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഞാനെന്തിന് എന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തികള്‍ നിര്‍ത്തിവയ്ക്കണം, പ്രതിയോഗികളോടുള്ള നെഹമ്യാവിന്റെ പ്രതികരണമിതായിരുന്നു. നെഹമ്യാവു പട്ടണം പുനര്‍നിര്‍മ്മാണം നടത്തി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ സാമ്പത്തിക തകര്‍ച്ച, ഭീകരാക്രമണം, ഒരു വിഭാഗം പൗരന്മാരില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള നിരുത്സാഹപ്പെ ടുത്തല്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ വൈധരണികള്‍ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചപ്പോഴും ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലേക്കു ള്ള പ്രയാണം പൂര്‍ത്തീകരിക്കുവാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു.
പൗരന്മാരുടെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിന് മതില്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കരുതെന്ന് വിശുദ്ധ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തില്‍ ഒരിടത്തും പറയുന്നില്ലെന്നും ജഫറസ് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രചാരണത്തിനിടയില്‍ ട്രംപ് ഉറപ്പ് നല്‍കിയ വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങള്‍ പാലിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതാണെന്നും നെഹമ്യാവിനെ എപ്രകാരം യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രക്ഷയ്ക്കായി ദൈവം നിയോഗിച്ചുവോ അതിന് തുല്യ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വമാണ് ട്രംപില്‍ അര്‍പ്പിതമായിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ജഫറസ് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.
