ഡൊണാള്‍ഡ് ട്രമ്പ് ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍രാജ്യങ്ങളെ, കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ഹൈതിയും, എല്‍സാല്‍വഡോരുമടക്കം "ഷിറ്റ്‌ഹോള്‍ കണ്ട്രീസ്''എന്നുവിളിച്ച് വധിക്ഷേപിച്ചു എന്നു വാര്‍ത്ത മീഡിയങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുനമ്മളറിഞ്ഞു.ഈ വാക്കുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്് ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ തലവനായത്‌കൊണ്ട് ഇത് വാര്‍ത്തകളില്‍സ്ഥലം പിടിച്ചു. ഇതിനെ വംശീയാധിക്ഷേപം (thnophaulism) ആയിട്ടാണു ജനങ്ങള്‍ കാണുന്നത്.ഇതുമൂലം ട്രമ്പിനെ വംശീയവിരോധിയായി ഭൂരിപക്ഷം വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചു.അദ്ദേഹം ഉപയോഗിച്ച വാക്കുകള്‍ക്ക് "വളരെവ്രുത്തിഹീനമായ, മലിനമായ, ജീര്‍ണ്ണിച്ച അരോചകമായ' സ്ഥലമെന്നു അര്‍ത്ഥമുണ്ടെങ്കിലും "തീട്ടക്കുഴി' എന്ന പദാനുപദ തര്‍ജ്ജമയില്‍ ഊന്നിനില്‍ക്കാനാണു പൊതുജന താല്‍പ്പര്യം.ഇഷ്ടമില്ലാത്ത അച്ചിതൊട്ടതൊക്കെ കുറ്റമെന്ന പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലിനു പതിരില്ലാതാകുന്നു. ട്രമ്പിന്റെ പ്രസിഡന്‍സി ഇഷ്ടമില്ലാത്തവരുടെ എണ്ണം കൂടുതലാണു. അതുകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഓരോ വാക്കും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിയും പൊതുജനം അതിസൂക്ഷ്മം പരിശോധിക്കും.
പ്രസിഡന്‍ിന്റെ ഷിറ്റ്‌ഹോള്‍ കണ്ട്രീസ് എന്ന വിമര്‍ശനം വന്നത് റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കന്‍ സെനറ്റര്‍ ലിന്‍ഡ്‌സിഗ്രഹാമും ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് സെനറ്റര്‍ ഡിക്ക്ഡര്‍ബിനും ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ വിസ ലോട്ടറി പ്രോഗ്രാം വെട്ടിക്കുറച്ച് ആ ഒഴിവിലേക്ക് അമേരിക്കയില്‍ താല്‍ക്കാലിക സുരക്ഷ അവസ്ഥ അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള കഷ്ടപ്പാട് അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളായ ഹെയ്ത്തി, എല്‍സാല്‍വഡോര്‍, ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍ രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ പൗരന്മാര്‍ക്ക് കൊടുക്കുക എന്ന നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം വന്നപ്പോഴാണു.ഈ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം പ്രസിഡന്റിനു ത്രുപ്തികരമാകത്തതിനാലാണു അദ്ദേഹം അസുഖകരമായ വിധത്തില്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചത്എന്ന് ന്യായീകരിക്കുന്നരീതിയില്‍ വൈറ്റ്ഹൗസിലെ മുഖ്യഡെപ്യൂട്ടി പ്രസ്സ്‌സെക്രട്ടറി രാജ് ഷാ വിശദീകരിക്കയുണ്ടായി. വിസ ലോട്ടറി സിസ്റ്റവും, ചെയിന്‍ മൈഗ്രേഷനും (കുടുംബബന്ധങ്ങള്‍വഴി കിട്ടുന്നത്)പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായി ശ്രദ്ധകേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയതിനുശേഷമുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങളെ പ്രസിഡണ്ട് സ്വീകരിക്കയുള്ളു. കാരണം മേല്‍പ്പറഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളും തീവ്രവാദികള്‍ക്ക് അമേരിക്കയിലേക്ക് കടക്കാന്‍ അവസരം നല്‍കുന്നു. അതുനമ്മുടെ സമ്പത്‌വ്യവസ്ഥയെ ബാധിക്കുന്നു. മറ്റുരാജ്യങ്ങളെ പോലെ യോഗ്യതയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റമാണ് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്. സമൂഹത്തിനു നന്മകള്‍ചെയ്യാനും അതിന്റെപുരോഗതിയില്‍ ഭാഗഭാക്കുകളാകാനും യോഗ്യതയുള്ളവര്‍ അമേരിക്ക എന്ന മഹത്തായ രാഷ്ട്രത്തില്‍ ഒന്നിച്ചു ചേരുമ്പോള്‍ അതിലൂടെ അമേരിക്കയുടെ സമ്പത്‌വ്യവസ്ഥയില്‍ നേട്ടങ്ങളുണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.
ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ തലവന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വാക്കുകള്‍ വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധാപൂര്‍വ്വം ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടതാണെന്നു നമ്മള്‍ ഉറപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ ഒരു കാര്യം വിസ്മരിച്ചുകൂടാ.അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞവാക്കിന്റെ നിഘണ്ടു അര്‍ത്ഥം വച്ച് പരിശോധിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ (പദാനുപദമല്ല) അദ്ദേഹം വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ച രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആ അര്‍ത്ഥപരിധിയില്‍ കുറച്ചെങ്കിലും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടോ? നമ്മുടെ ഭാരതത്തെ ഭിക്ഷക്കാരുടേയും പാമ്പാട്ടികളുടേയും നാടെന്നാണു വിദേശമാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത് കുറച്ചു കാലം മുമ്പ്‌വരെ.ഭാരതത്തിലെ നേതാക്കള്‍ അതിനെതിരെ പ്രതികരിച്ചില്ല. കാരണം അതില്‍ കുറച്ച് വാസ്തവമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
മോഡിപ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം ആ കാലം മാറിയെന്നു രസകരമായി പ്രതികരിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു ഞങ്ങള്‍ പാമ്പിനെ കളിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്‌നിറുത്തി കുറച്ചുകൂടിതാഴ്ന്നുകൊണ്ട് ഇപ്പോള്‍ എലികളെ (mouse) കമ്പൂട്ടറില്‍ കളിപ്പിക്കയാണെന്നു. കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ ചെത്തുകാരന്റെ മകന്‍ എന്നു സവര്‍ണ്ണനായ ഒരു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിവിളിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജനം അതു ഒരു ഫലിതമായിരസിക്കമാത്രമാണു ചെയ്തത്. കാരണം അതില്‍ വാസ്തവമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് സത്യങ്ങളൊക്കെ വിളിച്ചുപറയാന്‍ അധികാരത്തിലിരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും അല്ലാത്തവര്‍ക്കും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമുണ്ടോ എന്ന കാര്യം തര്‍ക്കവിധേയമാണ്.
ബോളിവൂഡ്താരങ്ങളായ ശില്‍പ്പ ഷെട്ടിയും സാല്‍മാന്‍ ഖാനും പട്ടികജാതിയിലെ തൂപ്പുകാരെ പരിഹസിച്ചുവെന്നപേരില്‍പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു. സുന്ദരിയായ ശില്‍പ്പഷെട്ടി ഒരു അഭിമുഖത്തില്‍പറഞ്ഞുപോലും "ഞാന്‍ വീട്ടില്‍ ഒരു ബങ്കിയെ പോലെ വസ്ര്തങ്ങള്‍ ധരിക്കുന്നു''. ഒരു പക്ഷെ ബങ്കിഎന്ന ജാതിപ്പേരിനു പകരം ഒരു തൂപ്പുക്കാരി ജോലി സമയത്ത് ധരിക്കുന്ന വസ്ര്തങ്ങള്‍പോലെയെന്നുപറഞ്ഞെങ്കില്‍ പ്രശ്‌നമില്ലായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ തൂപ്പുപണി ജീവിത മാര്‍ഗ്ഗമായികൊണ്ടുനടക്കുന്ന ഒരുവിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ പേരുപറഞ്ഞാലെ താന്‍ ഉദേശിക്കുന്ന അര്‍ത്ഥംജനം മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയുള്ളുവെന്നു കരുതിയായിരിക്കും അവര്‍ അങ്ങനെപറഞ്ഞത്. അവര്‍ പിന്നീട ്മാപ്പുപറഞ്ഞു.
ചെക്കൊസ്ലേവിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ട് മുസ്‌ലീം കുടിയേറ്റക്കാരെ കുറ്റവാളികള്‍ എന്നുവിളിച്ചു. പോളണ്ടില്‍ ഭരണത്തില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെ തലവന്‍ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ രോഗങ്ങള്‍ ഒളിഞിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്നു ആക്ഷേപിച്ചു. ഹങ്കറിയുടെ നേതാവ് കുടിയേറ്റക്കര്‍ വിഷമാണെന്നും വ്യാഖാനിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ ഇവര്‍ പ്രസ്താവന നടത്തിയത്‌കൊണ്ട് ട്രമ്പിന്റെ വിമര്‍ശനത്തിനു മറുപടിപറയാന്‍ അവര്‍ മുതിരുന്നില്ല. പക്ഷെ ലോകമെമ്പാടും അതു അലയടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ ട്രമ്പിനെ സമ്പന്ധിച്ചേതത്തോളം ഇത്തരം വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ പുത്തരിയല്ല. 2016 ലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രചാരണവേളയില്‍ അദേഹം പ്രസംഗിച്ചു 'മെക്‌സിക്കോയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റക്കരില്‍ പലരും കുറ്റവാളികളും, ബലാത്സംഗക്കാരും, മയക്കുമരുന്നു ഇടപാടുകാരുമാണു.''മുസ്ലീമുകളുടെ അമേരിക്കയിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം നിരോധിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറയുകയുണ്ടായി. എന്നാല്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ടായപ്പോള്‍ കര്‍ശനമായ പരിശോധനക്ക് വിധേയമായശേഷം അനുവദിക്കാമെന്നായി. അതിനുശേഷഷം ആറുമുസ്ലീം രാജ്യത്തു നിന്നുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് പ്രവേശനം നിഷേധിച്ചു.ഇങ്ങനെയെല്ലാം ഇദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നതിനു കാരണം എല്ലാറ്റിനും മുമ്പ് അമേരിക്കയെന്ന തീരുമാനമാകാം. അങ്ങനെ ഒരാശയം ആദ്യംകൊണ്ടുവന്നത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് വൂഡ്രോവിത്സണ്‍ ആണു (1916ല്‍).ട്രമ്പിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനപ്രസംഗം മുന്‍പ്രസിഡണ്ടുമാരില്‍നിന്നും വളരെ കുറിയതായിരുന്നു. പ്രസംഗത്തില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു ഇന്നുമുതല്‍ ആദ്യം അമേരിക്ക എന്നുള്ളതായിരിക്കും പരിഗണിക്കുക. പുരാണങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും വിവരിക്കാതെഅദ്ദേഹം വക്കുകള്‍ ചുരുക്കിയത് നമ്മള്‍ ഭവിയിലേക്ക്‌നോക്കുന്നു, അതായ്ത് എങ്ങനെ അമേരിക്കയിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് സഹായകമാകാം അവരുടെ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍പരിഹരിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ്‌കൊണ്ടാണ്. ഇവിടേക്ക് കുടിയേറുന്നവര്‍ ഗവണ്മെന്റിനു ബാധ്യതയാകരുതെന്ന പ്രസിഡണ്ടിന്റെ തീരുമാനത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കാന്‍ എല്ലാവരും തയ്യാരാകുകയില്ലെന്നു അദ്ദേഹം മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ലായിരിക്കം.
ഏഷ്യക്കാരെ മാത്രുക ന്യൂനപക്ഷമെന്നു വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് അവര്‍ ഇവിടത്തെ മെല്‍ഠിങ്ങ്‌പോട്ടില്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായി അലിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു ജീവിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണു. സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ ക്ഷേമനിധികളില്‍നിന്നും പണം വാങ്ങി കഴിയാന്‍ ഒരു ജനസമൂഹം ഇവിടെ എന്തിനുഎത്തുന്നുവെന്നു പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ചിന്തിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ അതില്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും പരാതിയുണ്ടാകാന്‍വഴിയില്ല. അതേസമയംസ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമയില്‍ എഴുതിവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ,മിടുക്കന്മാരും, വിദ്യാസമ്പന്നരും, ആരോഗ്യവാന്മാരും, ഒക്കെയായ മികവുറ്റവര്‍ ഉള്ള നാട്ടിലെപൗരന്മാര്‍ക്ക്മാത്രമെ ഇവിടേക്ക് പ്രവേശനമുള്ളുവെന്നല്ല എന്നതും ഈ അവസരത്തില്‍ ചിന്തനീയം.
വാക്കുകള്‍പിഴച്ചുപോയാല്‍ എന്തെല്ലാം നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങള്‍ അതുണ്ടാക്കുമെന്ന ഒരു പാഠം എല്ലാഭരണാധികാരികള്‍ക്കും പഠിക്കാം. പിന്നെ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ നന്മക്കായി ഒരാള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കേണ്ടത് പൊതു ജനങ്ങളാണു. എന്തായാലും നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലെപോലെ കോലാഹലങ്ങല്‍ ഇവിടെ കുറവാണു. പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ട്രമ്പ് ഇനിയും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍ വിളിച്ചുപറയാന്‍സാദ്ധ്യതയുണ്ട്. അതുകൊണ്ട് നമുക്കും ഭാവിയിലേക്ക് നോക്കിയിരിക്കാം. ഭാവിമാത്രം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കാം. അങ്ങനെചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ അമേരിക്ക അമേരിക്ക എന്നുമാത്രം പരിഗണിക്കാം.

ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ തലവന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വാക്കുകള്‍ വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധാപൂര്‍വ്വം ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടതാണെന്നു നമ്മള്‍ ഉറപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ ഒരു കാര്യം വിസ്മരിച്ചുകൂടാ.അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞവാക്കിന്റെ നിഘണ്ടു അര്‍ത്ഥം വച്ച് പരിശോധിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ (പദാനുപദമല്ല) അദ്ദേഹം വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ച രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആ അര്‍ത്ഥപരിധിയില്‍ കുറച്ചെങ്കിലും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടോ? നമ്മുടെ ഭാരതത്തെ ഭിക്ഷക്കാരുടേയും പാമ്പാട്ടികളുടേയും നാടെന്നാണു വിദേശമാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത് കുറച്ചു കാലം മുമ്പ്‌വരെ.ഭാരതത്തിലെ നേതാക്കള്‍ അതിനെതിരെ പ്രതികരിച്ചില്ല. കാരണം അതില്‍ കുറച്ച് വാസ്തവമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
മോഡിപ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം ആ കാലം മാറിയെന്നു രസകരമായി പ്രതികരിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു ഞങ്ങള്‍ പാമ്പിനെ കളിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്‌നിറുത്തി കുറച്ചുകൂടിതാഴ്ന്നുകൊണ്ട് ഇപ്പോള്‍ എലികളെ (mouse) കമ്പൂട്ടറില്‍ കളിപ്പിക്കയാണെന്നു. കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെ ചെത്തുകാരന്റെ മകന്‍ എന്നു സവര്‍ണ്ണനായ ഒരു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിവിളിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജനം അതു ഒരു ഫലിതമായിരസിക്കമാത്രമാണു ചെയ്തത്. കാരണം അതില്‍ വാസ്തവമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് സത്യങ്ങളൊക്കെ വിളിച്ചുപറയാന്‍ അധികാരത്തിലിരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും അല്ലാത്തവര്‍ക്കും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമുണ്ടോ എന്ന കാര്യം തര്‍ക്കവിധേയമാണ്.
ബോളിവൂഡ്താരങ്ങളായ ശില്‍പ്പ ഷെട്ടിയും സാല്‍മാന്‍ ഖാനും പട്ടികജാതിയിലെ തൂപ്പുകാരെ പരിഹസിച്ചുവെന്നപേരില്‍പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു. സുന്ദരിയായ ശില്‍പ്പഷെട്ടി ഒരു അഭിമുഖത്തില്‍പറഞ്ഞുപോലും "ഞാന്‍ വീട്ടില്‍ ഒരു ബങ്കിയെ പോലെ വസ്ര്തങ്ങള്‍ ധരിക്കുന്നു''. ഒരു പക്ഷെ ബങ്കിഎന്ന ജാതിപ്പേരിനു പകരം ഒരു തൂപ്പുക്കാരി ജോലി സമയത്ത് ധരിക്കുന്ന വസ്ര്തങ്ങള്‍പോലെയെന്നുപറഞ്ഞെങ്കില്‍ പ്രശ്‌നമില്ലായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ തൂപ്പുപണി ജീവിത മാര്‍ഗ്ഗമായികൊണ്ടുനടക്കുന്ന ഒരുവിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ പേരുപറഞ്ഞാലെ താന്‍ ഉദേശിക്കുന്ന അര്‍ത്ഥംജനം മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയുള്ളുവെന്നു കരുതിയായിരിക്കും അവര്‍ അങ്ങനെപറഞ്ഞത്. അവര്‍ പിന്നീട ്മാപ്പുപറഞ്ഞു.
ചെക്കൊസ്ലേവിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ട് മുസ്‌ലീം കുടിയേറ്റക്കാരെ കുറ്റവാളികള്‍ എന്നുവിളിച്ചു. പോളണ്ടില്‍ ഭരണത്തില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെ തലവന്‍ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ രോഗങ്ങള്‍ ഒളിഞിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്നു ആക്ഷേപിച്ചു. ഹങ്കറിയുടെ നേതാവ് കുടിയേറ്റക്കര്‍ വിഷമാണെന്നും വ്യാഖാനിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ ഇവര്‍ പ്രസ്താവന നടത്തിയത്‌കൊണ്ട് ട്രമ്പിന്റെ വിമര്‍ശനത്തിനു മറുപടിപറയാന്‍ അവര്‍ മുതിരുന്നില്ല. പക്ഷെ ലോകമെമ്പാടും അതു അലയടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ ട്രമ്പിനെ സമ്പന്ധിച്ചേതത്തോളം ഇത്തരം വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ പുത്തരിയല്ല. 2016 ലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പ്രചാരണവേളയില്‍ അദേഹം പ്രസംഗിച്ചു 'മെക്‌സിക്കോയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കുടിയേറ്റക്കരില്‍ പലരും കുറ്റവാളികളും, ബലാത്സംഗക്കാരും, മയക്കുമരുന്നു ഇടപാടുകാരുമാണു.''മുസ്ലീമുകളുടെ അമേരിക്കയിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം നിരോധിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറയുകയുണ്ടായി. എന്നാല്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ടായപ്പോള്‍ കര്‍ശനമായ പരിശോധനക്ക് വിധേയമായശേഷം അനുവദിക്കാമെന്നായി. അതിനുശേഷഷം ആറുമുസ്ലീം രാജ്യത്തു നിന്നുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് പ്രവേശനം നിഷേധിച്ചു.ഇങ്ങനെയെല്ലാം ഇദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നതിനു കാരണം എല്ലാറ്റിനും മുമ്പ് അമേരിക്കയെന്ന തീരുമാനമാകാം. അങ്ങനെ ഒരാശയം ആദ്യംകൊണ്ടുവന്നത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് വൂഡ്രോവിത്സണ്‍ ആണു (1916ല്‍).ട്രമ്പിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനപ്രസംഗം മുന്‍പ്രസിഡണ്ടുമാരില്‍നിന്നും വളരെ കുറിയതായിരുന്നു. പ്രസംഗത്തില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു ഇന്നുമുതല്‍ ആദ്യം അമേരിക്ക എന്നുള്ളതായിരിക്കും പരിഗണിക്കുക. പുരാണങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും വിവരിക്കാതെഅദ്ദേഹം വക്കുകള്‍ ചുരുക്കിയത് നമ്മള്‍ ഭവിയിലേക്ക്‌നോക്കുന്നു, അതായ്ത് എങ്ങനെ അമേരിക്കയിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് സഹായകമാകാം അവരുടെ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍പരിഹരിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ്‌കൊണ്ടാണ്. ഇവിടേക്ക് കുടിയേറുന്നവര്‍ ഗവണ്മെന്റിനു ബാധ്യതയാകരുതെന്ന പ്രസിഡണ്ടിന്റെ തീരുമാനത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കാന്‍ എല്ലാവരും തയ്യാരാകുകയില്ലെന്നു അദ്ദേഹം മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ലായിരിക്കം.
ഏഷ്യക്കാരെ മാത്രുക ന്യൂനപക്ഷമെന്നു വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് അവര്‍ ഇവിടത്തെ മെല്‍ഠിങ്ങ്‌പോട്ടില്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായി അലിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു ജീവിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണു. സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ ക്ഷേമനിധികളില്‍നിന്നും പണം വാങ്ങി കഴിയാന്‍ ഒരു ജനസമൂഹം ഇവിടെ എന്തിനുഎത്തുന്നുവെന്നു പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ചിന്തിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ അതില്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും പരാതിയുണ്ടാകാന്‍വഴിയില്ല. അതേസമയംസ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമയില്‍ എഴുതിവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ,മിടുക്കന്മാരും, വിദ്യാസമ്പന്നരും, ആരോഗ്യവാന്മാരും, ഒക്കെയായ മികവുറ്റവര്‍ ഉള്ള നാട്ടിലെപൗരന്മാര്‍ക്ക്മാത്രമെ ഇവിടേക്ക് പ്രവേശനമുള്ളുവെന്നല്ല എന്നതും ഈ അവസരത്തില്‍ ചിന്തനീയം.
വാക്കുകള്‍പിഴച്ചുപോയാല്‍ എന്തെല്ലാം നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങള്‍ അതുണ്ടാക്കുമെന്ന ഒരു പാഠം എല്ലാഭരണാധികാരികള്‍ക്കും പഠിക്കാം. പിന്നെ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ നന്മക്കായി ഒരാള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കേണ്ടത് പൊതു ജനങ്ങളാണു. എന്തായാലും നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലെപോലെ കോലാഹലങ്ങല്‍ ഇവിടെ കുറവാണു. പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ട്രമ്പ് ഇനിയും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍ വിളിച്ചുപറയാന്‍സാദ്ധ്യതയുണ്ട്. അതുകൊണ്ട് നമുക്കും ഭാവിയിലേക്ക് നോക്കിയിരിക്കാം. ഭാവിമാത്രം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കാം. അങ്ങനെചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ അമേരിക്ക അമേരിക്ക എന്നുമാത്രം പരിഗണിക്കാം.

Racism
Racism is a dangerous evil. Being superior – feeling or attitude- is generally regarded as the cause of racism. In fact, the cause is deeper. Throughout human history, humans clashed for existence. In olden days any group that looked different aroused fear and it triggered the destruction of the ‘unknown other. In the present times, humans have all tools to understand those people who look different. Self-education is the best tool to be free from fear. Humans are one race; skin colour and physical features may differ due to the environment. unfortunately, humans get confused certain religious sects, people in the different geographic area as a different race.
America is undergoing cultural, religious & racial problems. Fear & lack of understanding is the main cause. Yes, we need to secure our borders, prevent illegal immigration, but condemning certain group will distract our ability to control & solve the problems facing the Nation. False patriotism is spreading like wildfire. Politicians, religious groups, racial extremists, the gun lobby, drugs-all are the problem makers. Political leaders must focus on the security of the Nation and not in spreading violence, racism, hatred etc. they are diverting the attention from their illegal acts.
It is too late to chase out all illegal immigrants. Look at their criminal history and if they are clear give them work permits. It is a fact Social Security, Medicaid, School system- all are exploited and burdened by people who did not work for it or those who did not pay taxes. But we cannot ignore the poor and underprivileged. People who bring their parents from other countries and throw them into welfare pool are also part of the problem. If everybody can do & contribute their part, we can lead the country to progress. The country fought many unnecessary wars and is still involved. We don’t need to be the World Monitor. Empower UNO and let it deal World problems. Let us throw out the barriers that divide us whether it is a political party, religious groups- whatever. Our Nation should come first and not the false sense of Patriotism.
Vice President Mike Pence reportedly got an earful at church on Sunday, when a pastor blasted President Donald Trump’s reported disparagement of Haiti and African countries.
Pence and his wife, Karen, were guests at the Metropolitan Baptist Church, a historically black church in Largo, Maryland. The church’s pastor, Maurice Watson, told his congregation that he felt “led by God” to speak out against the president’s comments, which he called “dehumanizing” and “ugly.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sen. Cory Booker invoked Martin Luther King and Gandhi Tuesday as he delivered an emotional 10-minute lecture to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nieslen over her 'amnesia' about whether President Donald Trump made vulgar references to immigrants."When ignorance and bigotry is alive with power, it is a dangerous force in our country," Booker said. "Your silence and your amnesia is complicity."Nielsen repeatedly told members of the Senate Judiciary Committee that Trump used "tough language" during an Oval Office meeting Thursday with senators about a bipartisan immigration deal the president did not support. But Nielsen said she did not hear him use the words "shithole" or "shithouse" in reference to Africa or Haiti.
After published reports said Trump complained about accepting immigrants from "shithole" countries, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., confirmed Trump had used the word. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who was also at the meeting, has corroborated Durbin's account.Two Republicans who were also at the meeting, Sens. Tom Cotton of Arkansas and David Perdue of South Carolina, have said they also did not hear Trump use the vulgar remark.Booker, a new member of the committee, told Nielsen he was "seething with anger" over Trump's reported comments and the willingness of some in Washington to tolerate them.He said racism grows when people do nothing to confront it, and quoted Trump's reaction to a neo-Nazi march in Charlottesville, Va. last summer in which the president blamed violence on "both sides."
"I sit here right now because when good white people in this country heard bigotry, or hatred, they stood up," Booker said. "Moving into my home community, we were denied housing because of the color of my skin. And it was white Americans from Bergen County who banded together to fight against racism."
Booker has repeatedly described how his parents, both executives with IBM, worked with housing activists when they tried to break the color barrier in Harrington Park. After Booker's parents tried to put a bid on a home and were turned down because they were black, a white couple made an offer that was accepted and then Booker's father showed up at the closing with a housing attorney.
Booker told Nielsen that when he heard about what happened from Durbin, he found it "profoundly disturbing."
"When Dick Durbin called me, I had tears of rage," Booker said.
He said violent incidents motivated by racism outnumber those carried out by radical Islamists, and described death threats received not only by himself and Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris, who is also black, but also Sen. Mazie Hirhono, D-Hawaii, who was born in Japan.
"There are threats in this country. People plotting. I receive enough death threats to know the reality. Kamala receives enough death threats to know the reality. Mazie receives enough death threats to know the reality.
"And I've got a president of the United States whose office I respect who talks about the country origins and my fellow citizens in the most despicable manner. You don't remember, you can't remember the words of your commander in chief, I find that unacceptable."
Booker used the full 10 minutes alloted for questions as the hearing, but Nieslen was given time after he finished to respond. She chose to focus on the threat posed by supremacist groups.
"I couldn't agree with you more," she told Booker. "Our preventing terrorism programs have been reassessed and re-looked at just this year to ensure that we actually are going after the threats, to include white supremacy."
Earlier in Tuesday's hearing, Durbin asked Nielsen what she recalls Trump saying.
"What I heard him saying was that he'd like to move away from a country-based quota system to a merit-based system so it shouldn't matter where you're from, it should matter what you can contribute to the United States," she replied.
When Durbin asked her about the specific language used, Nielsen said there were about a dozen people in the room, many talking over each other.
"There was a lot of rough talk by a lot of people in the room," Nielsen said, adding she could not recall specific words. "What I was struck with frankly, as I'm sure you were as well, is just the general profanity that was used in the room by almost everyone."
"You didn't hear me use profanity," Durbin shot back.
