Yes, it was historic, how BJP came to power using religion. Where there was an issue they converted that to vote by presenting that as an attack on Hindus. Where there is no issues they created one to convert that to votes by presenting the issue as an attack on Hindus as in the recent 'Meesa' book  issue in Kerala. 'Mathrubhumi' started the issue by deciding to publish it, and stopped it for political reasons and created wide publicity for it. Now their strategy to power is clear to the public in Kerala. Let us wait and see if Hindus of Kerala will fall into this trap to bring some power hungry with dress made ready to sit on their dream-chairs.
