It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of  Mr. Shaji Prabhakaran (52), in an accident in Kollam, today. 

Shaji was the brother of Shahi Prabhakaran, a veteran community leader for Keralites and Indians in Washington Metro region and across the United States.

Shahi Prabhakaran was a former President of Kerala Association of Greater Washington in 2000. He has also served as the General Secretary of FOKANA during 2010-2012 and also as a committee leader for KHNA during 2011 convention in Washington metro area. He is currently the chairperson of  Sree Narayana Mission Center in Washington D.C
