സെന്റ് ലൂയിസ്: അമേരിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥി ഡൊണാള്‍ഡ് ട്രമ്പിനെതിരെ ഉന്നയിക്കപ്പെട്ട ലൈംഗീക ആരോപണങ്ങള്‍ തീര്‍ത്തും വ്യാജമാണെന്നും, ആരോപണം ഉന്നയിച്ച സ്ത്രീകളുടെ വിശ്വാസ്യത ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യപ്പെടേണ്ടതാണെന്നും ഡൊണാള്‍ഡ് ട്രമ്പിന്റെ ഭാര്യ മെലനിയ ട്രമ്പ് ഒരു പ്രസ്താവനയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
ഇന്ന് ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 17 തിങ്കളാഴ്ചയാണ് മെലനിയ ഭര്‍ത്താവിനെ പിന്തുണച്ചു പ്രസ്താവനയിറക്കിയത്.
വാര്‍ത്താമാധ്യമങ്ങളും, ക്ലിന്റന്‍ ക്യാമ്പയ്‌നും ചേര്‍ന്ന് നടത്തിയ ഗൂഡാലോചനയുടെ ഇരയാണ് തന്റെ ഭര്‍ത്താവെന്നും ഇവര്‍ ചൂണ്ടികാട്ടി.
ഞാന്‍ ട്രംമ്പിനെ പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. പ്രതിപക്ഷം മിനഞ്ഞെടുത്ത നിറം പിടിപ്പിച്ച നുണകളാണിതെല്ലാ. ആരോപണം ഉന്നയിച്ചവരുടെ പൂര്‍വ്വകാല ചരിത്രം പരിശോധിച്ചാല്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സത്യങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തുവരുമെന്നും മെലിനാ പറഞ്ഞു.
ട്രമ്പിനെതിരെ വീഡിയൊ ടേപ്പ് പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടതിനു ശേഷം ആദ്യമായാണ് മെലിനാ ട്രമ്പിനെ ശക്തമായി അനുകൂലിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് രംഗത്തെത്തുന്നത്. ഉണര്‍വ്വും, ഓജസ്സും, ശക്തവുമായ അമേരിക്കാ സ്വപ്‌നം കാണുന്നവര്‍ ട്രമ്പിനെ പ്രസിഡന്റായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുമെന്നും, വില കുറഞ്ഞ പ്രചരണ തന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ ട്രമ്പിന്റെ വിജയത്തെ ഒരു തരത്തിലും ബാധിക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും ഇവര്‍ പ്രത്യാശ പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു.
