നോര്‍ത്ത് അമേരിക്കയിലെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം മാര്‍ ഇവാനിയോസ് കോളജ് പൂര്‍വ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി സംഘടനയായ അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് മാര്‍ ഇവാനിയോസ് കോളജ് ഓള്‍ഡ് സ്റ്റുഡന്റ്‌സ് നോര്‍ത്ത് അമേരിക്കയുടെ (AMICOSNA) നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ഡള്ളാസില്‍ പൂര്‍വ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി സംഗമം നടത്തുന്നു. 

ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 11 മുതല്‍ 13 വരെ ടെക്‌സസിലെ ഡങ്കന്‍വില്ലെയിലുള്ള ഹില്‍ട്ടന്‍ ഗാര്‍ഡന്‍ ഇന്നിലാണ് മഹാസംഗമം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം മാര്‍ ഇവാനിയോസ് കോളജിന്റെ ഡയമണ്ട് ജൂബിലിയോടനുബന്ധിച്ചാണ് നോര്‍ത്ത് അമേരിക്കയിലെ പൂര്‍വ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ ടെക്‌സസില്‍ പൂര്‍വവിദ്യാര്‍ഥി സംഗമം ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. മാര്‍ ഇവാനിയോസ് കോളജിന്റെ 75 ാമത് വാര്‍ഷികാഘോഷങ്ങളില്‍ അമേരിക്കയിലെ പൂര്‍വ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി സംഘടനയും ഭാഗമാകുകയാണ്.

നോര്‍ത്ത് അമേരിക്കയിലെ പൂര്‍വ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി സംഘടന അമികോസ്‌ന 1979 മുതലാണ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ‘സത്യം നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കു’മെന്ന കോളജിന്റെ മുദ്രാവാക്യം, കലാലയത്തില്‍നിന്നു പഠിച്ചിറങ്ങിയ പതിനായിരങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതസാക്ഷ്യമാവുന്നു.

കലാ-സാംസ്‌കാരിക പരിപാടികള്‍, പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങള്‍, ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍, പ്രശസ്തരായ കലാകാരന്‍മാരുടെ സംഗീത പരിപാടികള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവ പൂര്‍വ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി സംഗമത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
